It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William John McFarlane (Bill) after a courageous battle on 15th June 2023 at Raigmore Hospital, aged 73 years, Balloan Road, Inverness, dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Astrid, Pippa, Tracy and Faye, loving grandad and great grandad, also a dear brother of David, Brian and Kenneth. Funeral Service on Friday 30th June 2023 at 1pm in D. Chisholm & Sons’ Funeral Home, Huntly Street, Inverness to which all are welcome to attend; thereafter cremation private. No flowers please. Donations if desired in memory of Bill towards Queen’s Own Highlanders and Macmillan Cancer Support may be given at the door.
